Job Description

To position and drive the overall fee and interest pricing strategy aligned to the Client Solutions strategy, as well as build or conduct the relevant modelling/model building for Transactional and Liability products, whilst ensuring adherence to the governance is applied when effecting pricing changes, for both annual and ad hoc pricing reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Mathematics & Statistics, Physics, Accounting, Commerce, or related 

 

Additional Information

Experience: 

5-7 years: Experience to formulate as well as the implementation of a pricing strategy, developing pricing frameworks, logic and models.Experience in data management and knowledge of databases, SQL programming and understand the technicalities related to these systems.Knowledge of all banking and financial services solutions across transactional, liabilities, lending solutions, insurance, card and payments and other areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse market dynamics, pricing trends, market opportunities, operating and sales margins to develop reports, procedures and tools for pricing and price discounting for fees an interest.Assess the impact of pricing changes on the bottom-line as well as on customers and shares report with Product Managers on a quarterly basis.Build financial models, scenarios and complex interaction models to predict competitor and customer behaviour as input into pricing strategy.Curb income leakages by reviewing the transaction volume reports, liabilities and loan balances reports and analysing it to identify revenue leakages and produces a dashboard.Continuously review the pricing strategy in order to respond timeously to changes to the environment or competitive landscape and to ensure alignment between business activities and the required outcomes.
