The Role The role of the PMO Manager is to ensure the streamlined operation in alignment with revenue goals and driving the implementation of enterprise public sector software systems. The PMO Manager coordinates sub work streams across teams with product, technical services, training, development, and security. The PMO Manager will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective implementation processes for all aspects of the organization. The work performed in this role will directly impact the productivity and effectiveness of the project team and the resulting organizational growth. Responsibilities: + Maintain and define standards for project processes as well as oversee active projects + Plan and delegate tasks and allocate resources effectively + Ensure quality of all projects are to CentralSquare standards and client satisfaction + Tracking project progress, setting deadlines, and ensure consistent alignment with business goals + Manages a few individual Project Managers each focused on their own project + Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to team on a day-to-day basis + Remove barriers, advocate for employees, identify performance improvement opportunities, and promote professional development + Provide performance feedback and conduct formal performance appraisals + Initiates, plans, executes, controls, and closes projects. + Assembles the project team, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate resources needed, and develops the schedule to ensure the timely completion of the project. Skills & Requirements Requirements: + Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred + PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 highly preferred + Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management + 2-3 years' experience of leadership experience within a project management environment + Advanced skills in project management and implementation processes and methodologies (including but not limited to PMBOK and SCRUM) + Advanced experience and proficiency in deploying, configuring, and/or managing various PM tools for the management of schedules, milestones, risks, issues, forecasts, and revenue + Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools + Strong ability to influence others and produce desired outcomes + Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills are essential + Able to provide feedback, encouragement, and training to direct reports to develop a professional work environment
