Manager, Performance Excellence

The Manager, Performance Excellence helps drive operational performance of the enterprise through the execution and implementation of reporting, training, and other resources that support ChenMed’s center, market, and regional leaders. The incumbent acts as an operational expert that partners with field leaders in driving best-in-class performance across all ChenMed locations. **ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Tracks organizational performance through data and analytics and identifies opportunities for targeted intervention. + Delivers new hire and ongoing training for field operations staff and leaders to support successful operational execution across all centers. + Serves as an analytical partner to Regional Presidents in their execution of operational initiatives that drive performance and success, identifying variation in processes and performance as well as opportunities to improve execution across the region. + Provides support if regions/markets need help to get a center on track with the operational model. + Maintains a deep expert knowledge of ChenMed’s Center and Leader Playbooks to answer any questions from field leaders or staff regarding operational processes, as well as performance excellence reporting, tools, or training. + Works collaboratively to drive successful completion of tactical and strategic initiatives. + Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:** + Advanced-level business acuity + In-depth knowledge and understanding of general/core job-related functions, practices, processes, procedures, techniques and methods + Driven, strategic, motivated, and has a forward-leaning approach to business + Strong analytical and critical thinking/problem solving skills, with the ability to identify areas of improvement and implement changes effectively + Ability to analyze data and metrics to create actionable items for leaders to optimize and implement + Commitment to data-driven evaluation of initiatives and service levels + Strong business acumen and presentation skills + Exceptional learning agility and servant mindset + Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills + Strong desire and willingness to provide both consultative/advisory support and hands-on execution + Strong process and meeting facilitation skill + Ability to structure ambiguous problems, think creatively, and lead teams to generate solutions + Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous and evolving team environment + Mastery skill in Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; competent in other systems required for the position + Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and/or nationally up to 35% of the time; flexible to work evening, weekends and/or holidays as needed + Spoken and written fluency in English + This job requires use and exercise of independent judgment **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:** + BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Public Health, or related field required **OR** additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis + A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in operations, analytics, and/or management consulting + Healthcare experience preferred We’re ChenMed and we’re transforming healthcare for seniors and changing America’s healthcare for the better.
