The Manager, Occupational Safety(LL6) position at the Tennessee Battery Plant in Stanton, Tennessee will have a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a key member of the start-up team, launching the facility from ground up.
The BlueOval SK Manager, Occupational Safety is accountable for the performance and results of the Occupational Safety team. The role ensures the administration of plant-wide safety processes, emergency response planning, and compliance with regulations, with consistency in a timely manner. The role closely partners with Health & Safety leadership to address complex general and occupational safety issues and collaborates with various departments. The role also supervises the maintenance of accurate documentation, administration of investigations, inspections, and root cause analyses. The role has expertise in interpreting and administering corporate health and Safety policies, Safety regulations, and best practices, analyzing trends, and providing guidance to contribute to the company’s over-arching effort to prevent employee injuries and illnesses and the elimination of hazards in the work environment. The role has limited to full management authority for staffing, performance, discipline, pay decisions, team development, and other personnel actions.
