The Manager, Network I will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the reliability and performance of IGT’s Wide Area Progressive (WAP) gaming systems across multiple jurisdictions. This position leads the Wide Area Progressives (WAP) Engineering Support team, overseeing the successful execution of initiatives and ensuring overall operational excellence. It is responsible for the full lifecycle of WAP operations, including the installation, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of networked gaming systems. Acting as a bridge between engineering, operations, and regulatory teams, the WAP Network Manager ensures seamless system functionality by coordinating cross-functional efforts, responding to technical escalations, and driving process improvements. With a focus on compliance, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency, this role is instrumental in maintaining IGT’s high standards for secure, innovative, and high-performing gaming experiences. + Lead the Wide Area Progressives (WAP) Engineering Support team, ensuring successful execution of initiatives and overall operational excellence. + Oversee the maintenance and optimization of IGT gaming platforms, including MegaJackpots, Class II games, Wide Area Progressive systems, and Central Determination Systems. + Oversee planning, testing, installation, and maintenance of equipment, network systems, and software at IGT data centers and customer sites. + Manage and respond to WAP equipment and connectivity issues as identified by the call center. + Approve updates and modifications to the WAP system while overseeing SOX controls. + Identify potential risks within technical and operational projects, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve challenges to maintain system integrity. + Participate in project staffing estimates, monitor project status, and ensure the team has the right mix of skills and resources. + Mentor and support Systems and Network Engineers and related personnel, conducting regular performance reviews and providing actionable development plans. + Collaborate with managers and supervisors to align tactical procedures with operational goals and ensure cross-functional coordination. + Engage with key stakeholders, including customers and vendors, participating in tactical negotiations and business discussions. + Collaborate with customers to define requirements and specifications for assigned installations or service upgrades of IGT’s gaming systems, platforms, and software. + Stay current with industry advancements, researching and evaluating new technologies for potential integration into IGT’s gaming systems and platforms. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field, computer science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. + 5-7 years of experience in the development, testing, installation, upgrading, and troubleshooting of complex software, hardware, and network systems. + 1-2 years of lead or supervisory experience, with a proven ability to mentor teams, delegate tasks, and drive operational success. + Proficiency in advanced networking, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure and security protocols. + Strong technical foundation across various disciplines or in-depth knowledge of essential components in Wide Area Progressive operations. + Strong knowledge of gaming industry regulations, compliance standards, and IGT’s customer landscape. + Proven ability to manage complex projects involving system installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting. + Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions. + Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and compliance teams. + Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. + ITIL Foundation certification required. + Proficiency with SAP, Salesforce, and Simplify. + Must be eligible to obtain gaming licenses across multiple jurisdictions. **Preferred Qualifications** + Master’s degree in a technology-related field, computer science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. + 7+ years of experience in the design, development, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of complex software/hardware systems and system upgrades. + 3-5 years of lead or supervisory experience. + In-depth knowledge of IGT’s organization, processes, workflows, systems, platforms, and infrastructure. **Keys to Success** + Building collaborative relationships + Decision making + Drive results + Foster innovation + Personal energy + Self-leadership \#LI-NP2 _IGT is committed to sustaining a workforce that reflects the diversity of the global customers and communities we serve, creating a fair and inclusive culture that enables all our employees to feel valued, respected and engaged. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $76,179/yr - $180,000/yr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable._ _Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.
