The Manager of Network and Voice is responsible for leading a team of network engineers to ensure the stability and integrity of voice, data, video, and wireless network services for the organization. Works with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and develop local area networks and wide area networks across the organization. Participates with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software and communication links. Manages the team for resolving network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, while meeting all established SLAs and creating reports for the management team.
Your Everyday
Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of network and telecom engineers, ensuring professional growth and development.Network Management: Oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the company's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPNs, and wireless networks.Telecommunications: Manage telecommunications systems, including VoIP, PBX, and other communication platforms, ensuring seamless and efficient communication within the organization.Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts, manage service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.Budgeting: Develop and manage the budget for the telecom and networking department, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.Project Management: Lead network and telecom projects in conjunction with the Project Management Office.Incident Management: Ensure SLAs related to break/fix incidents are met and exceptional best practices in customer service are delivered.Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to telecom and network management.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies.The Must-Haves
Minimum:
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in network and telecommunications management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Technical Skills: Proficient in networking technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless systems. Experience with VoIP and PBX systems.Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a technical team.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network and telecom issues efficiently.Project Management: Experience in managing large-scale projects and delivering results on time and within budget.Vendor Management: Experience in negotiating and managing vendor contracts and relationships.Preferred Experience: Healthcare or Healthcare IT background
