Location: Remote **Southwire Job Description** The Manager, National Sales is responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of Channel Sales Managers to ensure the successful management and growth of distributor relationships within their respective territories. This role focuses on developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive sales growth, increase market share, and optimize distributor performance. The Manager, National Sales provides leadership, support, and direction to the team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. This position requires a deep understanding of sales metrics, inventory management, and promotional strategies, as well as strong leadership and communication skills. Key Responsibilities • Lead and mentor a team of Channel Sales Managers, fostering a high-performance culture through coaching, development, and performance management. • Develop and execute strategic sales plans, aligning team objectives with overall company goals to drive revenue growth and market expansion. • Oversee the implementation of sales initiatives and promotional programs, ensuring they are effectively executed and deliver desired outcomes. • Analyze and interpret sales data and performance metrics, providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior management. • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between sales, marketing, product development, and operations teams. • Resolve escalated issues and challenges, providing leadership and support to Channel Sales Managers in addressing complex distributor-related problems. • Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and strategies, leveraging industry best practices and innovative approaches to enhance team performance. • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape, guiding the team to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge. • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), regularly reviewing team performance and implementing corrective actions as needed. • Represent the sales team in executive meetings, advocating for resources, support, and strategic initiatives to achieve sales objectives.
