The Impact You Will Have:

As a QTS’ Manager of Enterprise Applications you enable our digitization journey by building a roadmap that enables different lines of business to be successful in their utilization of critical enterprise platforms.  You are the key interface to our user community, provides proactive support, and facilitates organizational change management, with an emphasis on employee adoption and satisfaction in relation to these tools.  You will lead a team of Application Administrators & Application Analyst in the delivery of these services. You will also collaborate with direct leadership, business stakeholders and functional leads to ensure the goals and strategy for these applications are being met.

What You Will Do:

Team Management – supervise, coach and develop the enterprise application support team members, ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational goals and values, while also fostering the QTS culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation and customer serviceApplication/Platform Administration and Configuration – manage and assist the team in the configuration of applications, being a resource to the team, bringing insight and guidance as well as ensuring industry best practices while protecting QTS’s most important dataApplication Roadmaps – create and collaborate on the roadmaps for enterprise applications & M365 exocsystem, including enhancements, upgrades, integrations and migrationsUser Training – manage and assist in the development and coordination of regular communication and training for enterprise applications for existing and/or new features and functionality that is or will be availableUser Adoption – measure end user adoption and tailor communications and training to continually improveVendor Management – establish and maintain effective relationships with external vendors and service providers for enterprise applications, ensuring their effectivenessPartner with lines of business to identify use cases and requirements for process improvements that can be solved with existing applications or identify when there is a need for new solutionsAssist with the QTS Technical Advisory Committee processManage a repository of approved applications and associated line of business ownership within a Configuration Management Database (CMDB)Create the next generation interface for employees to interact with IT; comfort with deploying/integrating AI and LLM’s is a mustEvaluate new tools based on line of business requirements and provide recommendations; partner with QTS Procurement on the onboarding of approved toolsDevelop reporting and SLAs to continuously improve ticket completion and qualityBrief executive leadership on vision and associated roadmap; Provide strategic guidance, thought leadership, and subject matter expertise to senior management and other IT leaders.

What You Need to be Successful:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.5+ years of progressive experience in managing enterprise applications, preferably in a data center or managed service provider environment.Experience in leading people, giving feedback, or mentoring as a manager, team lead or cross-functionallyFamiliarity of Microsoft 365 suite, Smartsheet, Atlassian, Docusign and other enterprise applicationsExperience in managing vendors, contracts and service level agreements for enterprise applicationsAbility to apply agile methodologies, tools, and practices to enterprise applications development and delivery.Knowledge of IT security, compliance, and risk management standards and frameworks for enterprise applications.Strong analytical and problem solving skills, allowing for the ability to translate business needs and objectives into technology solutions.Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiencesStrong leadership, collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with management, business stakeholders, peers and team members.

It Would be Great to Have:

Relative certifications – Microsoft/Azure, Smartsheet, Jira/Atlassian, ITILApplication administration of M365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, CoPilot), DocuSign, Atlassian/Jira, SmartsheetAgile/Scrum experienceExperience working in a multi-tenant, managed service, or data-center provider environment
