The position is responsible for managing the department’s strategy and day-to-day operations of all security related hardware and technology. This includes burglar and fire alarm installation and maintenance, closed circuit television, electronic article surveillance and other related processes, products and functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) Oversee and direct Company strategy around all technical LP equipment, including, but not limited to burglar and fire alarms, electronic article surveillance, closed circuit television, low voltage wiring, networking, Loss Prevention IT servers and switches, locks, and locking hardware, including Tractor Supply Stores, Distribution Centers, SSC, and Petsense stores. Manage design and installation of all technical LP equipment, including, but not limited to burglar and fire alarms, electronic article surveillance, closed circuit television, low voltage wiring, networking, Loss Prevention IT servers and switches, locks, and locking hardware. Includes acting as contact point to resolve LP vendor and Construction/GC conflicts and blockers. Works with Construction and company architects to maintain LP needs on Store Criteria Package. Provides mark-ups and designs for systems as needed. Manage all escalations, repairs, maintenance and asset lifecycle for all LP technical assets. Direct Loss Prevention budgets and P&L as it relates to technical equipment, including capital budget of more than $15M annually, opex budget of $4M annually, and more than $130M in deployed LP technological assets Direct all programs that connect and attached to CCTV including but not limited to Computer Vision AI technology and Exception Based Reporting. Partner with IT, store operations, and other business units on leveraging and integrating LP Physical Security programs to maximize organizational value Create, deliver, and drive Loss Prevention notifications and training material for field personnel Negotiate costs and contracts and manage LP third party and vendor relationships System administrator for Service channel, while maintaining issues and open work order lists. Create and manage master data as it pertains to LP assets Partners with Store Planning on placement of security devices to optimize security as well as floor planning.Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of loss prevention experience is preferred. Previous multi-store LP or corporate level experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
