Job Purpose
Manage warehousing operations as a 3PL for Client's material/goods that required to be stored for long term requirements or transit prior shipments. Ensure warehouse facilitation and operations management is attributing effectively for the supply chain operations. Furthermore, ensure the Inventory accuracy levels are sustained as agreed contractually with Clients'.
Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)
- Ensure efficient conduct of warehouse operations to support 24/7 Logistics requirements and prevent disruptions to overall supply chain operations.
- Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes and shipping.
- Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping and customer service.
- Review and oversee the preparation of plans for manning and space requirements, equipment layout and action plans while ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
- Schedule and oversee that the warehouse team meet demands, while managing the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
- Train and develop team leaders and members to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short and long-term performance goals.
- Oversee general maintenance as needed for the warehouses.
- Meet regularly with Team leads to review, analyse, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention.
- Oversee and manage timely dispatch from stores in order to fulfil and support other contributors in the supply chain activities.
- Plan and implement new design layouts to maintain the physical condition of warehouse by, periodically inspecting equipment, overseeing the issuance of work orders for repair and ensuring requisitions for replacements are documented.
- Coordinate with HSE Compliance Engineers to ensure warehouse operations are executed as per operating standards.
- Manage warehouse Technical partner, ensuring compliance to standards and procedures.
- Support the VP Supply Chain and Business unit management team in exploring additional business opportunities from warehouse management services
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- At least 13 years of relevant experience in inventory & warehouse management related to the Oil & Gas industry with at least 6 years at senior supervisory/Team Lead level.
- In-depth knowledge, relevant to Oil & Gas warehouse, tendering, inventory policies and processes in addition to relevant regulations with sound knowledge in Oil & Gas production operations.
- Proficient in English.12 years of experience
Professional Certifications
- Certified Warehouse Logistics Professional (CWLP) preferred.
