A new enterprise business team is being set up; this team will be completely dedicated to the success of MDLZ entry into a new snacking category. In this key position, you will play a pivotal role in the development & growth of the MDLZ category growth, working with the Insights Director, by leading and partnering on key initiatives with the Innovation and Category team. You will lead the process of identifying consumer & shopper insights that influence strategy and actions.How you will contribute
You will :
Lead all innovation related research for MDLZ’s new snacking category team at an enterprise levelSupport the development of brand innovation strategy & a multi-year innovation agenda that aligns with the category’s growth strategy and financial targets using agile methodologiesProvide deep understanding of the consumer, brand, and category dynamics to inform development of relevant innovation across channelsPartner with the New Category Enterprise team to develop a compelling customer category growth storyConduct periodic situation assessment spelling our key category challenges & opportunitiesIdentify category purchase driver & barriers and articulate the unmet needs at a channel levelChampion category development via lens of 3mores & growth territoryPartner with Innovation team in crafting compelling story on how MDLZ brand-bundle will drive category growthPartner with commercial teams in building a compelling shelving transition roadmap Partner with RGM team in building MLDZ pricing strategy and channel specific PPA for this new categoryPartner with commercial team to frame key in-market T&L's KPIs and evaluationWhat extra ingredients you will bring:
Managerial experience in insights for consumer products, gained in industry and/ or consultingExperience working on agile & new category / segment entryConsumer marketing acumen with an understanding of innovation researchProficiency in NIQ/Circana database to identify category/ customer/ channel issues & opportunities Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability and know-how to navigate the organization across functions.Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams, including influencing without direct authority7+ number of Year experienceThe base salary range for this position is $117,400 to $161,425; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
