Manager, HR Operations

 

ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Americas Commercial Segment is seeking an experienced and energetic Manager of HR Operations, where your passion for people and transformative HR practices will shape the future of our organization. This pivotal role offers the chance to collaborate with organizational leaders, driving progressive HR initiatives and fostering a workplace culture of excellence.

 

This position will sit onsite full-time in New Haven, CT and will require occasional travel as required.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

Assist in planning, preparing, implementing, and following up on Segment, Divisional HR and engagement projects. Collaborate with HR Managers/Directors, Talent Acquisition Managers, Benefit Managers and executive teams across the business working to implement best practices and develop processes across the segment. Develop and implement rewards and recognition programs. Consult with and coach business leaders on talent management and workforce planning strategies to identify current and forecasted talent needs. Develop action plans to mitigate risks and improve successor readiness. Utilize a systems thinking approach to analyze organizational culture and develop scalable solutions for sustainable change. Drive employee engagement initiatives to improve engagement scores and reduce voluntary turnover. Act as the segment recruiter for specific positions as assigned by the VP of HR. Develop data audit programs to ensure accurate and consistent data in our SAP GPS system. Lead standardization efforts across the segment where appropriate. Manage ongoing HR analytics projects, covering recruiting, employee lifecycle, retention, turnover, compensation, and performance management. Integrate HR data into broader analytical areas to inform strategic decision-making. Foster a highly engaging culture, motivating employees to thrive in an environment that values teamwork, accountability, communication, and continuous development. Collaborate with business leaders across functions to provide insights, consultation, and effective people management strategies. Ensure alignment of HR initiatives with overarching business requirements.

 

What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Human Resources or a related field, paired with a rich history of developing Best Practices within a highly matrixed organization. PMP Certification desired Strong time management and project management skills, enabling you to navigate complex challenges efficiently. An analytical mindset, capable of breaking down complex situations, developing multiple solutions, and delivering data driven insights. Must have a broad HR background across diverse populations, encompassing both professional and manufacturing environments, with a track record of increasing responsibility. Proven success in recruiting and developing talent, encompassing both professional and manufacturing realms.
