**As a Manager, HR M&A NA, you create chemistry by...**
+ Capitalizing on your HR and M&A experience inclusive of acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures and HR processes, you will provide your expertise, strategic consulting, and thought leadership, driving people strategies for individual deals, as you influence deal negotiations.
+ Leveraging your program and project management experience, you will lead project planning (pre and post-acquisition), analysis, and management of the HR components associated with the BASF"s mergers & acquisitions life-cycle, including valuation, due diligence, deal structure, purchase agreement, schedules, representations & warranties, Day One readiness and post-merger integration of M&A transactions.
+ Serving as the HR SME, you will ensure a smooth integration of mergers and acquisitions into the organization, providing valuable insight on the integration of HR processes and practices, including but not limited to organizational design, compensation, and benefits and the successful management of the HR integration budget against pre-determined budgets
+ Your experience reviewing HR policies, procedures, and practices documents will enhance the structure of the HR M&A due diligence process, including integration checklists, project templates, best practices, and project management tools pertaining to HR.
+ Your strong cross-cultural skills and effective interaction with senior leadership will prove valuable as you lead the functional execution of M&A due diligence, sales purchase agreement, non-compete agreements, retention/change of control agreements, selection process, role model design/integration, policies/procedures interpretation and integration, payroll and benefits integration, ERISA plan provision analysis, employee communications, change management and cultural integration, cost synergy capture and integration budget management and as you serve as HR integration lead represent BASF to external company senior management.
+ Your design of strategic program timelines as well as detailed project plans will be leveraged as you assess resource loading, dependencies, and milestones, evaluating progress to timeline and budget and adjust project resource allocation as needed from planning through execution.
+ Your successful track record of leading teams will contribute to your success in leading direct reports and HR COE leaders, proactively ensuring program and project planning gaps or other risks are adequately identified and mitigated, escalating information and recommending issue resolution and as you monitor and support teams to provide a smooth and seamless transition post M&A.
**If you...**
+ Have bachelor’s degree.
+ Have 8-10 years of HR background.
+ Hold extensive experience in human resources specifically related to mergers and acquisitions, including knowledge of acquisition processes, joint ventures, divestitures, and post-merger integration strategies.
+ Have proven ability to manage complex projects, particularly in the context of M&A, including pre- and post-acquisition planning, due diligence, and integration management. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is essential.
+ Ability to work independently under broad goals and objectives with focus on relationship building and strong interpersonal skills.
