How you will contribute
You will manage the delivery of all HSE activities within Mondelez International US commercial areas (offices, retail sales, warehouses), including standards & procedures, capability processes, reporting, compliance and audit. That means you will define and review standards and legislation applicable to site, validate design for HSE into projects and modifications, and support defined work processes (e.g. IIM pillar) to improve HSE application and effectiveness. Also, you will map all applicable legislation and internal standards, ensure ongoing compliance and manage relationship with legal department and local authorities. You will maintain all applicable HSE regulatory requirements.
How you will contribute
You will:
Co-ordinate implementation of all HSE programs and processes. Prepare and build consensus annual plans for facility/function wide HSE initiativesPlan/Budget/Control annual capital budget for HSE to enable execution of the HSE plan and adherence to all internal and external compliance standardsProvide HSE expertise for the facility/function for all new projects and change management activitiesEnsure appropriate risk assessments are conducted and follow ups implemented to minimize or eliminate accidents, asset losses that might cause harm to one of the company’s employees, contractors, visitorsEnsure that the appropriate talent is in place through training, mentoring, and succession planning and supports development and learning capabilities of Safety specialistsEnsure the facility standards are in compliance with both Company and governmental/community regulationsEnsure training and coaching are taking place to drive a safety-perfect culture and to ensure safety standards and awareness are well understood throughout the plant organizationWhat you will bring

Experience as a Health, Safety and Environment Practitioner preferably within a commercial environment (offices, retail sales, warehouses).Demonstrated experience managing a team, change management and project managementExcellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levelsExperience with Health and Safety audit experienceEducation / Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in a safety related field; Minimum of 5 year’s experience in health, safety and environment management

Partner with retail sales and logistics front-line leaders within their region to implement and manage corporate HSE programsDevelops, supports and actively promotes all corporate safety policiesSupport the incident investigation and RCA processAssists in the establishment of company’s safety goalsEnsures compliance with all Federal, state, and local safety rules and regulations, including reporting requirements and record-keepingSupports key performance indicator (KPI) tracking and reportingMonitors safety metrics to identify trends that will drive focused loss prevention programs to prevent safety incidentsTravel requirements: Domestic travel required
Work schedule: Full time; Flexible work schedule
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $114,500 and $157,475
