Monitoring of regional trade legislations, regulations and rulemaking trends impacting Farnell’s business interests within the APAC regionDeveloping and maintaining relevant SOPs and procedures for trade related activities (import & export)Supervising a team to oversee and execute the day-to-day GTC operations within APAC regionMonitoring and executing transactional/order compliance screening and export hold releases to support Farnell businessesOverseeing the submissions, administration of import & export licenses, and miscellaneous correspondences to government agenciesManaging all enquiries from business stakeholders within APAC regionPerforming ad hoc compliance reviews for Farnell’s entitiesIdentifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risks for process improvementsConducting Trade Compliance training to business stakeholdersSupporting the APAC GTC department for ad hoc projects, as requiredOther duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Economics or equivalent qualifications5 years or equivalent GTC experience in a US MNC environment“Hands on” with high level of ethical standardsWorking knowledge of relevant trade laws & regulationsGood analytical and problem-solving skillsProactive and able to multi-taskSupervisory experience/skillsExcellent communications skill (English & Mandarin a must)
