The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis position will play an integral role in supporting the financial reporting, annual budgeting process, and monthly forecasting.

 

This position will serve as a strategic partner to various business units and senior management.

Responsibilities Lead a key vertical in the company’s financial management including but not limited to financial forecasting, annual budgeting, KPI’s, cost analysis, and controlsDevelop financial reporting packages, presentations, dashboards, and detailed analytics that reflect both financial and non-financial resultsCreate and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making, analyze financial performance, identifying trends, and offering actionable insights to managementCollaborate with cross-functional teams by providing financial insights, including cost analysis and variance explanations, to support business initiatives and drive financial successProvide financial recommendations for potential business opportunities and investmentsConduct ad-hoc analysis and fulfill other requests as required by managementIdentify opportunities for improving financial processes and systems, and implement changes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, economics, or finance is preferred5-10 years of relevant financial analysis experience, with a strong preference for experience in manufacturingA working understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Excellent organization, time-management, and communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving mindsetAbility to think strategically and align financial goals with broader business objectivesProven ability to analyze and present complex data in an easy-to-understand format to non-financial stakeholders at all levels of a manufacturing organizationAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExpertise with data visualization tools such as Tableau / PowerBI a plusFamiliarity with ERP systems and financial software tools such as JD Edwards and Hyperion is preferred
