Job Description The Manager, Field Training for the Neuroscience Parkinson's Franchise will be instrumental in developing and leading training initiatives to support the commercial organization. This role requires a candidate with strong clinical aptitude and executive presence, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and time-sensitive deadlines. The individual should be comfortable operating amidst ambiguity but consistently perform at a high level of execution, grounded in strategic insight. Regular communication with senior leadership and internal partners demands a high degree of emotional intelligence, organizational awareness, and adeptness in navigating internal processes to achieve targeted impacts. This is a hybrid position and requires the ability to commute to the Irvine, CA office at 3 days per week. Key Responsibilities: + Maintain expert knowledge in relevant disease states, products, and therapeutic areas. + Develop and implement training programs and initiatives with minimal oversight. + Design and update curriculum to address the needs of the commercial organization. + Collaborate with departments to ensure that training materials are accurate and compliant. + Manage vendor relationships throughout content development and contract execution. + Perform project management duties during the training content creation process. + Organize training meetings, covering all aspects from planning to participant engagement. + Partner with marketing and sales teams to align training materials with brand goals. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide effective, timely, and innovative training. + Work with external partners to ensure delivery of best-in-class training solutions. + Build trust and credibility with business partners through consistent, proven partnerships. + Serve as a resource during sales meetings and through regular field engagement. + Lead training sessions at national sales meetings and other pivotal events. + Continuously develop facilitation skills to support the delivery of training content. + Assess ongoing organizational training needs and suggest innovations for clinical and developmental competencies. Key Stakeholders: + Train Franchise Leadership & Marketers/ Global pipeline, Market Access & MSL Team and Senior Brand Technology colleagues, and new Directors of Marketing, RD’s to existing pipeline + Partner with marketing, sales leadership, Medical/Legal/Regulatory/Compliance, and other departments, as needed, to create and implement specific training material. + Continuously assess training and development needs of the sales force and coordinate training resources for current and future needs. + Draws from field sales knowledge and develops and nourishes relationships with field sales to provide sales training and marketing leadership with a clear understanding of field needs to support product positioning, address competitive promotional efforts, and to assess the success of the various communication tools. + Assist, execute and pull-through the Franchise Annual Training Plan, with stakeholders and adjusted based on business needs. + Contributes to stakeholder strategic imperatives and strategy (i.e. IBT Meetings, operations excellence meetings etc.) Qualifications + BA degree required; master's degree a plus + 5+ years pharmaceutical, medical device/equipment, industry-related sales + Experience in training, marketing, or sales within the pharmaceutical/biotech sector. + Knowledge of relevant disease state and selling in that environment + Experience with pathology and companion diagnostics is a plus. + Familiarity with adult learning principles and training design is preferred. + Exceptional collaboration skills with stakeholders at various organizational levels. + High professionalism and the ability to excel in a cross-functional environment. + Strong ability to work effectively in an unstructured setting. + Strategic insight to prioritize important initiatives effectively. + Excellent presentation & communication skills, both written and verbal Additional Information Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law: ​ + The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
