Manager, Enterprise Planning & Capability Management (12- Month Contract)

What you’ll do
The Enterprise Strategy and Planning team develops and leads the enterprise level approach that integrates our business units’ and functional teams’ planning. Our enterprise level view links our strategic plan to our prioritization and measurement of both customer and performance objectives. By working closely with all members of the team, the Manager, Enterprise Planning and Capability Management will develop and lead critical processes aimed at transforming CTC into a customer-led organization and ensuring the company’s most strategic initiatives are delivered.
+ Support the build of a baseline enterprise plan for 2025 and 2026 workstreams based on Strategic Initiatives, capital plan and current roadmaps
+ Establish new, ongoing process for cross-functional enterprise roadmap management
+ Provide input into annual planning process to ensure link between functional plans, EIP, BRP/in year management and strategy
+ Facilitate discussions across stakeholders on a regular cadence (e.g., monthly, quarterly) to monitor progress, identify critical dependencies and roadblocks and adjust plan as needed (primary focus area: Capital Spend)
+ Partner with Technology and Finance to ensure their processes and Enterprise planning process are in sync and challenges are communicated and addressed
+ Highlight where roadblocks for execution may exist e.g., dependencies, sequencing, resourcing and support communication of these roadblocks to SLT
+ Facilitate discussions across business groups to break down blockers to project execution
+ Facilitate the integration of new initiatives into the detailed roadmap
+ Refine process and approach based on learnings and new strategic direction
+ Support communication of sequencing and prioritization to business partners
+ Establish a centralized place and process to manage key program initiatives
+ Support development and implementation of a ‘Capability Management’ mindset in the organization to provide a common framework for several critical processes across the enterprise (incl. multi-year and annual enterprise planning, technology roadmap development, investment planning (resources and cash), talent development, objective setting, etc.)
+ Liaise with change management experts to create a change plan and ongoing change activities for the program
+ Facilitate discussions across Design Leads on a regular cadence to support integrated design build, sequencing and execution
+ Ensure each Design lead has resources required to complete design and execution
+ Incorporate work effort, dependencies, and sequencing into enterprise planning process, where relevant
+ Ensure incorporation of work into strategic initiatives
What you bring
+ Undergraduate degree (PMP, MBA and/or Finance designation is an asset)
+ 3+ years of experience in a managerial position with strong influencing and relationship skills
+ Executive presence and ease working closely with leaders at all levels
+ Proven ability structuring complex issues, problem solving, and building compelling roadmaps
+ Strong background in project chartering, scope development, and project management best practices
+ Experience in consulting, strategy development, and/or strategy execution are assets
+ Superior collaboration skills with the proven ability to build relationships across various stakeholder groups to move initiatives forward
+ Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze data to develop insights and recommendations
+ Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize to meet business objectives
+ An agile mindset with the ability to manage in an environment and team that deals with constant change and ambiguity
+ Ability to innovate and think creatively and take initiative when building, launching and managing projects/programs that drive results
