Title and Summary

Manager, Deal Management

Overview:

•\tEnd-to-end ownership of financial support to sales teams on incentive deals
•\tWork with sales team to ensure business case model accurately reflects deal
•\tPartner with sales team to provide advice on deal structure, best practices and strategic intent with customer
•\tReview final model and business cases with Management and seek internal approval. This includes (but is not limited to) benchmark against similar proposals, identification of risks, discussion on unique issues (e.g., other impacted areas, unique characteristics of portfolio, etc.)
•\tActive participant in deal committee, ensuring process is carried through

Major Accountabilities:

o\tReviews final model and business cases with Management and seeks internal approval. This includes (but is not limited to) benchmark against similar proposals, identification of risks, discussion on unique issues (e.g., other impacted areas of MC, unique characteristics of portfolio, proposed sales strategy)
o\tResponsible for contract monitoring, incentive reporting and tracking across the North division of the LAC region
o\tInteracts with customers and account managers on incentive deal performance
o\tCoordinates and consolidates forecasts and budgets for incentives and contra revenue
o\tParticipates in regional quarterly incentive reviews
o\tAssures excellent coordination with Region Controller
o\tMonitor incentive model to calculate monthly accruals/performance
o\tCalculate, analyze and review incentive payments
o\tAssists in resolution of issues raised by customer regarding the incentive offer (may result in direct discussions with issuer or customer). This includes creating impact analyses of issuer requests, reviewing with Management
o\tReviews drafted contract and ensures incentives agree to the approved business case. Ensures all other terms agree with approved business case (e.g., term, claw backs, customer commitments)
o\tProvides expertise on many cross functional work teams (e.g., assist in quantifying revenue impact for certain initiatives, etc)

Experience/Education:
\tBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent experience in financial analysis and/or deal management
•\tBilingual (English-Spanish) required
•\tKnowledge/experience with payments industry strongly preferred
•\tSolid Financial analysis experience, experience in the bankcard/payment industry a plus
•\tExceptional Excel skills
•\tDetail oriented
•\tExcellent communication skills
•\tAbility to influence effectively
•\tWorking knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion a plus
