How you’ll make a difference:

The Manager, Data Analytics (Process) will develop data solutions to assist in the advancement of initiatives needed to support customer growth and formulary expansion across all of McKesson’s key customer segments.  It includes the creation of analytical solutions used manage customer programs and how to best provide value to the organization.

The position will also serve as a proactive agent of change within the business by understanding the long-term functions of the pharmacy space and developing systems, databases, and other critical analytic tools needs to support the growing and complex nature of wholesaler relationships.

Support the development of customer-level metrics needed to accurately manage market differentiating programs.  Forecast the economic impact of potential deals, pricing proposals, and initiatives.  Manage the compilation, analysis, and reporting of data via SQL and other tools to forecast trends, apply various analytical techniques (i.e. mathematical models and/or statistical techniques) to support customer growth.

Establish and convey complete understanding of McKesson Value Proposition to the Customer: Price, Service Level, Rebates, Programs and Technology vs. Competitors and provides support and execution assistance, as needed.

Provide internal consulting services on the execution of Program and Product initiatives from a systems perspective (designing implementation of program offerings in the context of current systems and identifying when changes to systems are necessary).  Play a key role and contribute to the Generics IT and Analytics strategy development.

Oversees business reporting and services to multiple levels of customer segmentation:  Segment / Chain / Region / Primary / Secondary / Non-MCK / Committed / Shopper.

Defines and applies best practices for data and report management and constantly seeks methods for process improvement concerning SOPs.

Other responsibilities and projects, as directed.

Minimum Requirements

.7+ years of relevant experience

Critical Skills

Skills in T SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Reporting Services (or similar reporting platform), as well as proficiency in Snowflake, Databricks, and SQL Server.

Experience with reporting tools (SSRS, Business Objects, Tableau, MicroStrategy, etc.)

Thorough understanding of financials and the economic impacts to the bottom line and how conditions can change them. 

In-depth knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis.

Extensive experience in analyzing pricing strategies and forecasting revenue and market share.

Experience in collaborating on pricing strategies with sales and marketing departments.

Ability to keep abreast of industry trends and develop dynamic pricing tools.

Advanced ability to present pricing analysis reports to relevant stakeholders.

Expertise in troubleshooting data quality issues and analyzing data requirements to solve business problems

Must have data mining, analysis, and reporting experience.

Nice to Have –

Knowledge of R and Python

Understanding of data visualization strategies used to illustrate information using technology such as Tableau or QlikView

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$108,000 - $180,000
