Manager, Crew Business Intelligence

Feel free to enrich both your personal and work life and hop on board! **Why you'll love this job** + ​This job is a member of the OPP Team within the Integrated Operations Division. + ​Responsible for owning and managing all of the crew data, reporting and business intelligence tools. **What you'll do** ​ + Leads data intensive projects that include the usage and development of analytics using technology such as Teradata SQL, SAS enterprise guide, Tableau, Informatica and Hyperiod + Acts as a liaison with IT and Data Warehouse teams for crew technology projects + Supervises the analytical and reporting support for the Crew Planning organization, including Crew Schedule Planning, Crew Manpower Planning, and to a limited extent, Crew Scheduling + Manages the crew data sources and provides data and reporting resources to a variety of customers + Creates metrics to track Crew performance and planning, ensuring the timely dissemination of metrics to user groups + Ensures adoption of accurate data across the crew business + Manages the development of new analytics, as well as maintaining existing Crew data reporting across AA + Manages and learns the latest analytical tools with Operations Research + Crew Database Project Management, this includes : + Collaborating with IT and Data Warehouse teams to add data elements to the crew databases + Improving the real time crew database stability and speed + Manages data programming and quality assurance + Business Intelligence dash-boarding management + Performs ad-hoc data analysis + Oversees hiring, training and development of 5 Analysts **All you'll need for success** **Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience** + Advanced Degree (Master's or PhD) in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field + 3 years of related experience + 2 years of experience in data analytics, data warehousing, and/or business intelligence **Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience** + 3 years experience working with American Airlines data analysis and management + Experience in airline crew field + Advanced Degree in a related field **Skills, Licenses & Certifications** + Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Knowledge of SAS, SQL Programming + Knowledge of Tableau/Cognos/Hyperion business intelligence suites + Teradata and Oracle database expertise + Ability to manage a wide variety of projects concurrently + Organizational and analytical skills + Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion **What you'll get** Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: + Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
