Manager, Corporate Responsibility

The Corporate Responsibility Manager will play a key role in planning and delivering impactful community and industry engagement efforts, and developing and executing strategic communications, special campaigns, events, and programs that showcase Clark’s commitment to building better communities. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and support initiatives that make a meaningful difference, both at the project level and across the company. The ideal candidate possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, project management capabilities, a can-do attitude, and passion for making a positive impact.
**Responsibilities**
+ Community Engagement Programs: Craft and implement strategic community engagement plans that enhance Clark’s positive impact on projects in the DC metropolitan region and beyond. Efforts include fostering strong neighborhood relationships, promoting local hiring, supporting workforce development, engaging youth, and maximizing opportunities for small and local businesses.
+ Strategic Communications and Content Creation: Support the development and distributions of project-level communications (e-blasts, community presentations, video construction updates, newsletters, etc.) to foster public trust and enthusiasm, and build awareness of project opportunities, construction activities, progress, and milestones. Support Clark in responding to public inquiries, concerns, and requests related to our projects..
+ Stakeholder Relations and Community Engagement: Serve as a community ambassador, cultivating partnerships with project neighbors, local businesses, workforce and non-profit organizations, community groups, and educational institutions, specific to project involvement.
+ Advance, Track, and Measure Community Impact: Support the advancement of project-driven community goals or commitments and track data related to local workforce development, youth engagement, and local and small business utilization to measure the project’s economic impact.
+ Event Planning and Management: Support the planning and execution of project events that engage stakeholders.
+ Corporate Events and Initiative Support: Assist with the planning and management of corporate responsibility-focused initiatives, including but not limited to Construction Inclusion Week, and other programs.
+ Help track, measure, and analyze corporate social responsibility efforts to ensure delivery of internal goals and objectives.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field preferred
+ 6+ years of relevant experience in strategic communications, community engagement, corporate responsibility, and/or public/community affairs
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver high-quality strategic plans, presentations, and multimedia content
+ Experience with event planning and stakeholder engagement; capacity to independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
+ Previous experience with workforce or small business development, and/or youth engagement initiatives is a plus
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); experience with Adobe Creative Suite and digital communications platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact) is preferred
+ Strategic thinking with a demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality work in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment
+ Ability to foster meaningful relationships at all levels of the organization and within the community
+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others
+ A high degree of professionalism and integrity
+ Desire to grow responsibilities and role within the organization
+ Some travel required

Construction work requires strenuous physical activity.
