The Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Contracts within the Short and Medium Range Ground Based Air Defense (SMGBAD) area. In this role, the selected candidate will provide support to complex situations and creative solutions to support the U.S. Army’s Enduring Indirect Fire Protection Capability (E-IFPC) system. This role will support an active Other Transaction Authority (OTA), its transition to a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) based program based program, along with the IFPC 2nd Effector completive OTA capture. The successful candidate’s attributes should include but are not limited to strong experience with FAR/DFARS/Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) terms and conditions risk assessment and negotiations, understanding the implications of international work, strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, subject matter expertise in general contracting, and be able to provide contractual and business guidance to the Program Management Leadership. What You Will Do + Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to establish mutually beneficial relationships + Provide support to the Associate Director, Contracts + Provide support to complex contractual matters and help reach resolution through proactively collaborating with relevant stakeholders + Support development of pre-negotiation objectives and implement negotiation strategy reviews as part of the proposal development process + Have the ability to represent Raytheon independently on significant transactions while developing and maintaining trusting relationships with complex customers Qualifications You Must Have + Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience. + The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
