Corporate Vendor Management at Charles Schwab & Co. is responsible for implementing a firm-wide, end-to-end vendor management process to maximize vendor performance and value. Corporate Vendor Management is responsible for the sourcing, onboarding, risk assessment, monitoring and offboarding of third-parties; and assists Schwab in meeting regulatory and compliance requirements.
What you’ll do:
This position provides operational support to the Supplier Management team. The Supplier Management team consists of supplier onboarding and maintenance, risk assessment, monitoring and offboarding of third-parties and the Corporate Affiliate Program. You will be responsible for providing support to the Supplier Management team by providing reporting and excel working files to perform their processes. The position also provides ad hoc reporting, performs system updates and general support as needed. In addition, this position will administer the Secondary Review Program for Supplier Management processes. This program reviews processes and documentation to determine approved procedures are followed. It will include not only the review of work but reporting to leadership on results.
Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Develop reporting as needed to measure functional statuses and service levels including graphs Update and maintain training documentsMaintain and update desktop proceduresRepresent team on projects as subject matter expertManage group email boxes maintaining a 48 hour service levelPerform research and remediation of third-party data anomaliesStrong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to process work accurately in a high-volume environmentUnderstanding of how contract and supplier information is used and how risk is assessed and monitoredAbility to take high level, sometimes ambiguous requirements and develop them into functional processesRun system reports, validate information, and prepare for broader communicationsComplete special projects and other responsibilities as assigned What you have 3+ years of vendor management, contracts, and relationship management experienceVery strong written and oral communication skills Flexible and adaptable in handling and implementing changeMust be a self-motivated individual who grasps concepts quickly, takes proactive ownership of tasks or processes and is a team playerAbility to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with minimal direction, prioritize and multitask independentlyAbility to work in a fast-paced, technical, cross-functional environment and be able to produce with minimal directionExperience building effective relationships Strong analytical, problem solving and data analysis skillsStrong Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint requiredBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Experience working in the financial industry or other regulated environment (risk, compliance or vendor management) preferredExperience with Ariba, Hiperos, and/or PeopleSoft is preferred Options Apply for this jobApplyShareRefer a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
