Hilton South Asia’s Communications team is a part of a dynamic, global team of communicators who play an integral role in shaping the company’s storytelling – with a strong focus on growth, innovation, and purpose\. We are seeking a Manager, Communications – South Asia \(9 months’ contract\) to join Hilton South Asia’s regional team and assist us in amplifying storytelling efforts for consumer brand building across the region\. Given Hilton’s ambitious growth plans in the region, this role will be crucial in shaping and communicating our growth story through strategic PR and creative campaigns\. You will work cross\-functions simultaneously and support the South Asia’s Communications Lead in driving the strategic narrative of Hilton’s growth story and support the team in managing big moments for brand expansion in new markets, commercial activations and deliver impactful PR outcome\. This role requires a communications practitioner with the ability to influence across all levels of our matrixed team, from local hotels to the senior executives\. You will bring consumer storytelling expertise, media knowledge and creative writing skills\. Prior experience of working in PR agencies across hospitality and consumer sector will be preferred\. The role reports to the Director, Communications – South Asia, and will involve close collaborations with regional and Asia Pacific teams\. **HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT** Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique\. Consumer Communications + Assist communications for new hotel openings and ongoing consumer PR campaigns, driving media and influencer support + Plan the consumer activity calendar with high impact touchpoints to tell the brand story + Work on key industry events, brand milestones and commercial activations to support the brand plans + Nurture and maintain strong media / influencer relationships, respond to enquiries as well as manage the regional media database + Support in the development of key hotel content like press releases, speaker notes and other relevant documents + Develop toolkits for hotels to help with opening PR efforts as well as ongoing efforts + Work closely with our agency partners towards driving our business and brand objectives + Creative writing skills and presentation making skills + Work on key industry events, brand milestones and commercial activations to support the growth narrative for the company + Work with PR and event agencies to deliver on important internal and external facing events + Support in planning employee engagement activities + Provide event management and support key activities as required + Responsible for key success and achievement reports **WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT** You have these minimum qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience in a PR agency + Good written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to craft compelling narratives + Track record of delivering integrated communications campaigns, successfully managing communications during times of crisis in a global and matrixed environment + Good media relationships and sound understanding of media landscapes + Experience managing internal and executive stakeholders + Experience of working in or across multiple markets + Proficiency in one or more languages in addition to English will be a plus + Highly collaborative and an ability to work with colleagues from different parts of the business and region + Travel domestically up to 40% **WHAT IT IS LIKE WORKING FOR HILTON** Hilton, the \#1 World’s Best Workplace, is a leading global hospitality company with a diverse portfolio of world\-class brands \(https://jobs\.hilton\.com/us/en/brands\) \.
