Manager, Client Solutions

To manage a client portfolio by building, maintaining and deepening client relationships, providing trusted advice, and selling fit for purpose products and services that meet client needs and achieve exceptional client experience. To optimise cross-selling opportunities and portfolio Structured sales revenue in line with the GM Structured Sales strategy and defined risk parameters and regulatory requirements.

Essential Function

Sell products & package solutions to targeted client segments & sectors, to acquire new clients & originate new business with existing clients to grow share of wallet. To provide thought leadership to drive overall relationship management outcomes, market share & competitiveness. Engages & resolves different needs across multiple clients & integrates all client experience touch points in environments with more variable hand-offs. Identifies trends & patterns that impact client requirements.

Solutioning The requirement to leverage client/market insights and trends to provide input into optimal solutioning design outcomes. Solutions (originates) new business opportunities where the client need is aligned to their current business model. Coordinates solutioning tactics in an environment that is relatively stable (liquidity and regulations).

The requirement to adhere to the Client SBG risk and regulatory framework, to ensure the transparency of dealings, respect client rights, ensure fair pricing, good execution and after sales client experience. Ensures compliance within relevant risk and regulatory frameworks . Tactics concerned with new solutions and not existing products only. May be across multiple jurisdictions.

The requirement to be aware of technology evolutions, client digital appetites and requirements and partnering to be able to scale products and solutions to meet client needs. Drives technology enablement value proposition to create client centric technology evolutions so that the Portfolio can stay ahead of competitors.

The requirement to ensure the integrity and compliant management of GM client data to be able to provide insights and reliable reporting of key client metrics. Applies client and market data, analytics and reporting to better inform client origination and retention.

The requirement to look to the internal and external realties and potentials to better plan for the Portfolio by collaborating with other segments and partners to deliver against business objectives. Identifies trends and disruptors to improve performance of the overall business with a 1-year horizon.

The requirement to sell commoditized products to clients by leveraging price competitiveness. Largely relies on digital channels. Sells all products in an asset class and also bundles cross-sell opportunities with secondary products. Looks at product performance across multiple clients.
