Manager, Care Coaching

 The Manager, Care Coaching is responsible for the oversight of evaluation of member's needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state. The Manager, Care Coaching works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines approach, resources, schedules and goals.

The Manager, Care Coaching oversees the evaluation of members' needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state by guiding members/families toward and facilitate interaction with resources appropriate for the care and well-being of members.

 

Decisions are typically related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area. Requires cross departmental collaboration and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with other managers across the department.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a health related field2 or more years of managed care experience in Medicare and/or Medicaid.1 or more years of management/leadership experience.Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting trendsComprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and AccessProgressive experience in the health solutions industry, with emphasis with leading and managing teamsMust be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiencesThis role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in human services, social sciences, or health related field.Applicable State licensure in field of studyRN or LPN with current State LicensureProficiency in analyzing and interpreting financial trendsPrevious experience in utilization management, discharge planning and/or home health or rehabilitationExperience with health promotion, coaching and wellnessHealth Plan experiencePrevious Medicare/Medicaid ExperienceAdditional Information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$69,800 - $96,200 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
