Manager, Business Process Reengineering
What you’ll do Reporting to the Associate Vice-President of Business Process Engineering, the Manager, Business Process Reengineering (BPR) is responsible for leading internal strategic projects that necessitate comprehensive process transformation. This role involves providing expert analysis and actionable recommendations to optimize business processes and enhance organizational efficiency in support of transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for strategic process improvement initiatives, managing the reengineering process across various business groups, and leading a data-driven approach to process optimization. The BPR Manager acts as a “conscience” for process improvements and works on conducting ongoing performance monitoring of process metrics, communicating key findings, risks, and opportunities to the AVP of Business Process Reengineering. + Leading and facilitating internal strategic projects focused on process reengineering and redesign + Applying systems thinking to analyze and improve business processes + Utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive process optimization and efficiency + Managing projects using Agile and traditional project management techniques + Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery + Holding team members accountable for project milestones and deliverables + Designing and implementing technology solutions, including emerging technologies such as robotic process automation and generative AI + Conducting advanced data analysis to support decision-making and process improvements + Managing change initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies + Providing expert consultation and guidance on process reengineering best practices What you bring + Minimum of 10 years of experience in business process reengineering/process optimization, or management consulting. Experience in the retail industry is imperative (flexible for exceptional candidates) + Post-secondary education, preferably in business, engineering, or a related field + Strong technical background with expertise in Lean Six Sigma, process optimization, and advanced analytics + Proven experience in project management and Agile execution + Excellent leadership and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead meetings and drive consensus + Strong understanding of change management principles and practices + Experience with emerging technology solutions, including workflow design, robotic process automation, and generative AI + Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Hybrid We value flexibility.
