The Role

As a Manager, Brand Content at Prudential Financial, you will lead the creation and curation of compelling content that resonates with our audience, enhancing the brand's reputation as a trusted financial partner.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that all content aligns with our strategic goals, fostering growth and protection for families.

Your role involves developing content strategies, managing content production, and measuring the impact of content initiatives to drive engagement and brand loyalty.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement content strategies that align with Prudential Financial's brand values and objectives to enhance brand awareness and customer engagementOversee the creation, editing, and publication of high-quality content across various platforms, mainly the company website, social media, and with advertising partnersTranslate brand strategy and activation activities into compelling content opportunities by identifying themes and hooks to build internal and external audience engagementCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and public relations, to ensure consistency in brand messaging and contentConduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights that inform content creation and strategyMonitor and analyze content performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of content strategies and make data-driven adjustments as neededEnsure all content complies with regulatory requirements and company policies, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and integrityStay informed about industry developments and best practices in content marketing, integrating new ideas and technologies into the content strategyDevelop and maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of relevant and timely content that supports business goalsCoordinate with analytics, digital marketing, and media to test and optimize content including SEO and search resultsFacilitate the creation of thought leadership pieces and other premium content to position Prudential Financial as a trusted authority in financial services


This role is hybrid with onsite work in Newark, NJ 3 days per week.

Your Expertise
What you’ll need to succeed:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field and a minimum of 5 years in Marketing with 3+ years in a Content MarketingProven track record in developing and executing content strategies aimed at financial education for consumersStrong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality content independently or in collaboration with othersDeep understanding of the financial services industry and its impact on consumer wealth growth and protectionExperience in creating engaging and informative content that educates and empowers consumersAbility to see work through end to end, collaborating with teams as needed and working independently when necessaryExcellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong analytical skills to measure the effectiveness of content strategies and make data-driven decisionsExcellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation and spoken formats to a variety of audiencesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and conciselyCollaborative mindset, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and compliancePassion for financial literacy and a commitment to helping consumers make informed financial decisionsProven ability to thrive in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallelStrong project management skills to ensure timely execution of marketing initiativesExperience with digital marketing tools and platforms to enhance content distribution and engagementExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate strategies and influence stakeholdersAdaptable and innovative, with a willingness to explore new trends and technologies in advertising and content

What we offer you:Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $107,300.00 to $166,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.

Market competitive base salaries, with a yearly bonus potential at every level.
