It's all here and it’s exactly what _going further_ is all about. **Position Summary** Manages all billing operations and implements new processes to improve employee productivity and efficiency. **Major Tasks and Responsibilities** + Monitors and tracks the billing team's performance, attendance, and accuracy of completion. + Designates and funnels tasks and responsibilities to maintain service level agreements. + Develops and implements billing policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy. + Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate billing. + Audits billing processes to address gaps to maintain appropriate internal controls. + Ensures accuracy and completeness of all billing and collection related documents. + Provides guidance and coaching to leadership on the billing processes. + Analyzes billing data to identify trends, performance, and make recommendations for improvement. **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field. + 5+ years of billing or transportation experience. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation application systems. **Benefits** At Saia, your success is our success!
