This position is responsible for managing the daily functions of the Deductions Analysts / Assistants including: establishing, maintaining and reporting metrics, training, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, etc.
Responsibilities:
Manage a team of Deduction Analysts / Assistants to reduce/minimize the Company’s A/R deduction balances by maximizing collection of invalid deductions and clearing valid deductions promptly within HbI Policy guidelines for the portfolio of deductions assigned. Manage processes that ensure timely resolution of customer deductions. Manage and provide accurate deduction status reporting for portfolio of accounts managed by team. Ensure HbI policies and procedures are in place and manage adherence. Establish, maintain and report Metrics regarding productivity of team members. Manage and provide reporting regarding deduction activity. Communicate trends, issues and problems to upper management on a timely basis. Communicate the existence of business practices noted which are deemed ill-advised, risky, or unprofitable. Review deduction balances and determine when escalation or write-off consideration is necessary. Special projects and ad hoc reporting as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Finance. Minimum 5 years supervisory experience. SAP Experience highly preferred. Proficient in Spanish and English.Knowledge and prior experience in deductions research & resolution.
Strong MS Office Suite skills including Excel PivotTables and Formulas (V-Lookup, etc.)
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Highly organized, self-motivated and detail oriented.
