The Role
The Manager, Advertising Destination Strategy is tasked with delivering meaningful content experiences that build trust and consideration to enable our customer to take positive financial action with Prudential.
This Manager, will need to work to raise the profile of our brand and highlight our differentiation by creating and implementing digital content strategies (when/where we are investing in paid media). This role will support our brand and business strategies by being hands on throughout integrated campaign development and execution, extending the reach of existing messaging and developing new content that engages and inspires external audiences.
This role is best suited for a content strategist with an entrepreneurial spirit and a business owner mindset. Someone that thrives on the excitement of building new opportunities, creating structure from ambiguity, and can partner with multiple stakeholders to drive action. Editorial experience of any kind is a draw.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement brand and business content marketing strategies for priority campaigns with advertising supportTranslate brand strategy and activation activities into compelling content opportunities by identifying themes and hooks to build audience engagementPartner cross functionally with brand and business marketing partners to align on priority projects that deliver on brand and business objectivesCollaborate with brand, businesses, media, sponsorship, social, creative, and SEO teams to create/curate content experiences that accelerates business results, as well as builds brand consideration and thought leadershipCommission and guide research, and analyze data to uncover insights that help optimize strategic plans and content execution and deliveryResponsible for mapping content journeys, ideation and execution of content, measuring and reporting on impact and learnings to drive brand and business objectivesUse audience insights, customer segments and messaging themes to build an integrated content planCoordinate with analytics, digital marketing, and media to test and optimize content including SEO and search resultsOversee the content development process, working closely with internal and external creative teams to produce high-quality contentUse Generative AI for content creation and refine with editorial expertiseImplement and utilize tools and technology to track and analyze content effectiveness and its role in business growthThis role is hybrid with onsite work in Newark, NJ 3 days per week.

What we offer you:Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $107,300.00 to $166,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.Market competitive base salaries, with a yearly bonus potential at every level.
