Management Specialist - Project Management Information Systems (PMIS)

CDM Smith is actively seeking to grow our project management information systems (PMIS) team! This position will support our Federal programs and projects in implementing enterprise-wide software solutions.
US citizenship is required.
As the ideal candidate for this position, you are self-motivated. When someone thinks something cannot be done, your first instinct is to find a solution anyway. You are comfortable jumping from one technical topic to another and applying your expertise to different scenarios.
The core of your work will be supporting the US Army Corps of Engineers Construction Management Innovation Office transition from a legacy software system to the implementation of a new construction management platform.
Typical tasks include:
-Meeting preparation, facilitation, and documentation
-Task management
-Coordination across a large virtual team
-Business process analysis and design
-User acceptance testing
-User training and adoption support
-Software configuration
-Report and dashboard development
-Data quality analysis and field mapping in support of
software integration
With high level goals provided, performs moderate to highly complex consulting analyses (Ex: Operations improvement, Human Resources, organizational design, etc.) to support client business needs. With high level goals provided, prepares moderate to highly complex sections of management consulting reports. Creates basic to highly complex recommendations for improvements to client programs. With high level goals provided, contacts clients to collect or review initial datasets or presentations.
Provides project status updates to clients, as required.
Collaborates with sales staff to create proposals in response to current and potential client requests for proposal (RFPs). Reviews draft proposals for adherence to firm, industry, state, local and federal regulations and best practices. Meets with current and potential future clients to review their current and future organization needs. Provides technical guidance and training to more junior staff.
Mentors more junior staff and develops them for future growth within the discipline and firm.
Participate in Communities of Practice (CoP) activities. May participate in professional association and societies, attend conferences, contribute to papers, etc.
Performs other duties as required.
