Management Analyst II

Overview:


The Management Analyst II. will carry out organizational studies and evaluations, assist with the design of management systems and procedures, perform work simplifications and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.

Primary Responsibilities: Functions as a Management Analyst with intermediate knowledge of management systems techniques, processes, and technology that will optimize program operations. Analyzes management information requirements to develop program or administrative reporting systems including the systems specifications, data gathering and analyticaltechniques, and systems evaluation methodology.  Analyzes administrative processes and/or office programs. Writes reports, letters, and other documents with recommendations for management programs, policies, and activities. Assists with the development of new or revised management systems or procedures to facilitate the operation of programs within established guidelines. Performs administrative and financial analysis. Provides research, spreadsheet development, data collection, and analysis.  Prepares various recurring reports such as monthly, quarterly, cumulative semi-annual, and cumulative annual reports.  Provides day-to-day support in diverse program activities and projects. Employee will require some supervision and has a growing opportunity to exercise independent judgment and initiative in the line of work. Performs other related duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience: Associate’s degree preferred and five (5) years relevant experience.

Must possess excellent command of the English language and excellent writing skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Maintains professional competence and specialized knowledge base by keeping abreast of emerging themes and best practices.

Basic knowledge of and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to carry out studies and analyses of management functions or programs.

Knowledge of substantive programs, goals, pertinent laws, and policies to analyze and assemble information; and basic knowledge of management and organizational techniques, systems, and procedures to perform analytical studies.

None.

Security Clearance: Possess or be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET security clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to maintain required Security Clearance/access approvals. Physical Demands:


The physical demands that will be required inside the workplace and for the position. Must lift, will sit, 
answer the phone, type on a keyboard, move files, etc.
