Summary As a Management Analyst, you will maintain an acquisition workforce's warrants and certificates, prepare reports using data analysis to highlight potential procedural or guidance improvements, and recommend changes to achieve greater organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Location of position: General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service, Acquisition Policy Branch, in Boston, MA. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed. Responsibilities This position has job functions that must be executed within specific geographic locations. The official duty station is a federal facility, leased space, or an alternative worksite (typically the employee’s home) within the specified geographic area. Perform analysis and/or evaluation of a range of administrative functions such as efficiency and effectiveness assessment, program progress, proposed guidelines and/or procedures to determine their impact on agency operations. Recommend solutions to avoid or mitigate risks and anomalies based on data analysis. Ensure personnel complete required training to obtain or maintain all certifications or warrants necessary to carry out the program support goals of the agency. Maintain agency’s active warrants through warrant requests, candidate evaluation, and/or revoking warrants which are no longer required. Prepare inefficiency summary reports regarding a program’s certification, warrant, or credentialing requirements for use in briefings and/or strategic planning. Recommend changes to guidelines or procedures to improve operation efficiency. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized Experience is defined as: experience performing analysis and/or evaluation of administrative procedures to recommend risk-mitigating solutions, recommending changes to guidelines or procedures to improve administrative efficiency, and managing personnel certifications and/or warrants through one or more of the following: processing warrant requests, candidate evaluation, and/or ensuring personnel maintain required training.
