Our West Geography is looking for an Electrical Major Projects Leader to join our multi-disciplinary team in either our San Francisco or Oakland offices.

 

For this role we are looking for a licensed Electrical leader with experience leading multi-disciplinary projects, including data centers, laboratories, rail, or commercial projects, in the capacity of a Project Leader.

 

This position requires a strong technical design and consulting background, combined with substantial client-facing, business development, and project leadership skills. This is a client-facing opportunity with the expectation to champion business growth and team expansion.

 

Responsibilities:

·       Leading electrical engineering design on large multi-disciplinary data center, rail, laboratories, healthcare, and commercial projects.

·       Performing as engineer of record (or alternate)

·       Ideate with design teams and be able to share expertise and strive for innovative solutions, incorporating sustainability-focused and decarbonization methods into building designs.

·       Lead the overall design of large, complex projects coordinating large multi-disciplinary project delivery teams, facilities, and resources within tight time and budget constraints.

·       Strive to be continuously winning future work for the team.

·       Predict and plan for future resources, leading both technical and financial performance.

·       Work to build and manage strong client relationships.

·       Foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence while building a atmosphere of trust within the team and supervise current and future performance of a portion of the overall multi-discipline team by developing and mentoring the team for growth.

 

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree; graduate degree a plus

·       15+ years of electrical engineering and project management experience within the data center, laboratory, rail, or property market in California

·       Professional Engineering License in US

·       Track-record of work winning, and building and managing successful relationships with client organizations.

·       Demonstrable commercial foresight, and leadership qualities

·       Upbeat, hardworking, and inspirational leader, with outstanding people-management skills 

·       A strategic and innovative thinker with high level strategic planning skills and a keen insight to quickly understand the West Geography business environment and potential.

·       Involvement in professional industry organizations would be well regarded.

Current and recent electrical team’s projects include California High Speed Rail Central Valley stations, Laboratory research buildings on university and healthcare campuses, Multiple state of the art all-electric Hospitals, Several Confidential Corporate Campuses, New Data Centers in multiple locations across the US.

Hiring Range: The good faith base salary hiring range for this job performed in California is $185,000 and $255,000. Benefits are not included in the base salary range. Summary of benefits are included in this posting with details provided to applicants at the time of interview. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of California will differ.
