JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Working as a team lead of the electrical maintenance trades working group, the incumbent uses high-level knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, structural, locksmith and/or plumbing assemblies to supervise the on-site repairs of facilities, machinery, mechanical, and electrical equipment, and other related subsystems. Work is performed in accordance with pertinent guides and regulations.
Provides guidance and technical expertise to subordinates in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, mechanical, HVAC and related equipment and systems. Lead, plan and execute the installation or repairs of any variety of electrical equipment. Train and oversee subordinates in the use of blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications to locate and diagnose trouble in the electrical system or equipment. Train and oversee subordinates to work standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment. Train and oversee subordinates in the use of a variety of electrician's hand tools, measuring and testing instruments. Works with section supervision to develop budgets and monitors completion of project assignments. Provide input for section employee evaluations. Candidate may be required to perform other position duties such as, but not limited to: safety representative, TMDE monitor, section hazardous material monitor, after hour on call responder (potentially twice monthly), weekend duty as necessary, and related duties. Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Possess journeyman-level proficiency in one or more of the building trade disciplines (Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC) Knowledgeable of project cost and budgeting procedures Knowledgeable of vendor sourcing systems and related departmental logistics and supply proceduresREQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and completed training as part of a formal apprenticeship program. Incumbent must have 10 years of directly related work experience with the base trade being Electrical. Incumbent has attended or is in the process of formal training of a second trade with working experience in that trade. Performance of these activities requires current knowledge in the proper use of all hand tools. Incumbent must possess working knowledge of the technical terminology and language structure related to a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment/systems supported by the work unit. Incumbent must have basic personal computer skills and knowledge of applications software and database usage sufficient to maintain records and files. In addition, incumbent must have good verbal and written communication skills. Position may require travel. Incumbent is required to qualify for and maintain a government security clearance and must have a current, valid state-issued driver's license. Must be a US citizen.
SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $83,283 to $87,360 annually.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is generally performed outdoors but may be indoors in a shop or repair facility. The incumbent may be required to work under moderate noise conditions and under extreme weather conditions This position may require travel to work sites at remote facilities. The work requires the ability to frequently stoop, stretch, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds or more for such purposes as retrieving and moving parts (anything heavier than 50 pounds requires two people or mechanical assistance).
