Conagra Brands - Centralia, home of Duncan Hines, is looking to add to our 3rd shift maintenance team. You will work onsite at the Centralia, IL manufacturing plant and report to the Maintenance Manager. Maintenance technicians perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot/repair equipment issues as they arise.
Pay Rate: $28.15 / hr.
You Will:Replace, repair, adjust and modify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic equipment.Monitor, troubleshoot, repair and maintain facility and plant support equipmentTest parts, assemblies, equipment and systems for proper operation, makes all necessary adjustments and records all modificationsInitiate action, identifies and records defects to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety systemAssist production technicians with equipment set-ups, answer callouts from warehouse, and other departmentsUse and update shop prints and specifications and refer to manufacturer's manuals for servicing and installation of equipment and distribution systemsAssist outside trades / specialists with repairs, replacements, adjustments, installations, modifications to equipment, machinery, wiring, piping, tools and infrastructureComplete "pass-over 'with previous and incoming technicians to ensure continuity from shift to shiftOrders parts, equipment, toolsInspects work and work area, perform clean-up using proper tools and equipment, according to approved methods /proceduresPerform housekeeping tasks to maintain clean and safe working environment observing Company proceduresAt the end of the shift complete all required paperwork / data entry, secure all equipment.Follow all plant and corporate safety and food safety proceduresUnderstand time sensitive escalation proceduresCreate and close out own work orders and add specs info to SAP systemControl inventory parts using the SAP systemResponsible for any other tasks/duties as directed by your SupervisorYou Have:High School Graduate or GED with two years prior maintenance experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding in a production environment or two-year technical degree. Must have an understanding of, but not limited to:Drive train- Belts, pulleys, sprockets and chainBasic electrical- 110 single phase and 480 & 230 v 3 phaseMotor controlFabrication- welding, grinding and assemblyStrong knowledge of motors, pumps, and valvesPneumatics- air valves and controlsBoiler System OperationsChiller System OperationsRefrigeration System OperationsBasic Building Related RepairsMust be able to work overtime and weekends as neededAbility to train other mechanics, be willing to be trained by other mechanics, and attend continued education courses#LI-Onsite
