Operates oxyacetylene and electric arc welding machines in cutting and welding structural steel beams, columns, plates, flooring, brackets, etc.; Cuts, welds, brazes and solders metal parts in the repair and replacement of parts for mechanical equipment, or in the repair, replacement or installation of structural steel; Follows blueprints in doing structural or major mechanical repair work; Overhauls, repairs or replaces metal parts where welding or associated metal work is the major skill required; Aligns, sets in place and welds bases for motors, pumps and other mechanical equipment; Fashion sheet metal troughs, chutes, ventilating ducts and other devices, as well as the structures necessary to support them; Fabricates wall brackets, shelves, supports, ladder, platforms, stairways, railings, etc.;
Cleaning work areas, tools, and equipment.Using hand tools to prepare materials for welding.Forklift and Boom Lift ExperienceGood with HeightsGED or higher education and have 3-5 years of experience.
