Fluidra is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the team at our Jacksonville, FL site. WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE The primary purpose of this position is to provide routine mechanical and electrical maintenance support to assure that facilities and infrastructure is maintained in an acceptable manner. In addition, troubleshoots production equipment when problems arise to prevent unscheduled downtime events. Performs specified preventive and predictive maintenance again to minimize scheduled downtime and reduce maintenance cost. In addition, is trained on programming bending and other complicated technical equipment and performs operator back up functions to support production on this equipment as required. WHAT WE SEEK Manage maintenance request system and PM program. Prioritize and assign the work of maintenance team. Maintenance Technician will participate in the installation, repair, and upkeep of all facility assets, including manufacturing equipment, Overhead and other type of cranes, CNC equipment, Lathes, Robotic cutting system, pneumatic pumps, air compressors, among others. Perform scheduled and emergency repairs of production machinery and other equipment within the facility. Drives and participates in CI activities - processes, results, and cost savings.Diagnose problems, and replace or repair machinery, parts, and tools. Keep accurate records of maintenance performed on all equipment and systems. Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Promote safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Performs “handyman” maintenance duties such as furniture moves, aesthetic projects, light construction, and assist with janitorial functions at times.EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent WHAT WE OFFER  An exciting opportunity to dive in and begin your career with a company that offers a competitive total rewards package that includes: 2 weeks of paid vacation (accrued biweekly, prorated if hired during the year)1 week of sick leave11 company paid HolidaysFull range of health benefits including medical, dental & vision, short & long-term disability401(K) matching (100% of first 3% contributed, 50% of the next 2%)Health and wellness programs / gym reimbursementEducational assistance up to $7,000 per yearCompany sponsored FUN events!Generous product discountsPosition starts at $23.00/ hour.
