In addition to competitive pay, we also offer: + Health benefits available Day 1 + 401k available Day 1 + 10+ paid holidays/year + Free HAZWOPER training and certification + Overtime opportunities + Ability to be cross-trained into different roles The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of tasks to assist in all aspects of maintenance operations **Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):** + Change rolling stock to forklifts, wheel loaders, and backhoes + Performing tasks for the upkeep of buildings and grounds. + Carpentry, Plumbing (pvc/black iron piping systems), electrical skills (single & three phase repair/install and control wire trouble-shooting) + Perform repair and rebuilding of pumps and gearboxes + Preform scheduled preventive maintenance on rolling stock. + Preform general labor for the up keep of the ground. + Maintain a clean and pristine work area at all times. + Clean up any spills and residues after operations. + Leave work area at end of shift in clean and organized manner. + Wear proper PPE during maintenance operations + Participate in mandatory pre-shift and post-shift safety and operational meetings detailing tasks to be completed on shift. + Pay attention to all safety at all times and be aware of potential dangers. **Basic Required Qualifications:** + High school diploma or GED + Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field **Preferred Qualifications:** + 40-hour HAZWOPER training + General knowledge in maintenance, specifically in carpentry, plumbing, welding and electrical skills + General knowledge of working with smalls pumps and motors + Ability to read and understand manuals to assist in repairs + Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekend hours Clean Earth offers competitive benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans starting on the first day of employment; paid time off, wellness benefits, employee discount program, tuition assistance, and a 401k with company matching.
