Buffalo Tungsten is hiring for an Industrial Maintenance Technician!

Our products are used in the manufacturing of high-tech components in the tooling, automotive, aerospace, energy, infrastructure, electronics and mining industry. What you will be doing:

Mechanical or Electrical maintenance operations. Analyze, prepare and carry out small to medium sized improvements on machines and equipment (major sized improvements if necessary). Preventive maintenance, perform corrective actions, supports planning and preparation, monitors outcome, documentation (outcome, root cause, time, improvements). Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operationDismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective partConduct building repair and maintenanceWork in accordance with standard operating procedures. Achievement of maintenance targets. Follow quality and cleanliness standards. Communication of operational status and any deviations. Safety and housekeeping (5S) requirements.  Continuous improvements and development on a personal and operational level. Snow removal and other groundskeeping tasks

Requirements:

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent/Relevant Trade CertificationsCommunication and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivatedProblem-solving skillsMust be able to read, write and speak English fluently

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years experienceBasic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systemsExperience using hand and electrical toolsAbility to read technical manuals and drawingsInstall equipment

Hours:

Generally M-F, 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Pay Range: 45k - 55k based on experience
