Job Description
The Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment, including conveyors, PLCs, robots, vision systems, and computer-controlled devices. The role involves effective communication of requirements and status to production operations, performing preventative maintenance independently, and maintaining or improving system performance to design specifications.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment, conveyors, PLCs, robots, vision systems, and computer-controlled devices.Effectively communicate requirements and status to production operations.Work independently to perform preventative maintenance following written schedules and procedures.Maintain and/or improve system performance to design specifications.Perform routine maintenance and inspections on dispensing and unit dose packaging equipment within priorities and on time.Troubleshoot system issues and take corrective actions independently, minimizing production downtime.Highlight system issues for permanent corrective actions and process improvements.Maintain and organize spare parts inventory.Define training and preventive maintenance programs to optimize and maintain equipment.Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, calibrations, and spare parts.Ensure safety compliance personally and with equipment.Participate in special projects and/or rebuilds.Assemble and test various mechanical devices and complete systems according to blueprints, written or verbal specifications with minimal supervision.Complete documentation and/or specifications.Essential SkillsElectrical troubleshootingMechanical repairHydraulics and pneumatics maintenancePreventive maintenanceConveyors repairExperience with AC/DC motors, servomotors, and frequency driversProficiency in using power tools and measuring devicesAbility to read schematics and blueprintsExperience with 220-480V power4 years of electro-mechanical experience in a manufacturing environmentAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in precision mechanical setup-assembly or building of moving equipmentGeneral machine shop practicesPreferred experience in high-speed processing of food, pharmacy, consumer products, automotive repair (engine repair, transmissions, or vehicle electrical systems), and large industrial processesWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The role is in a pharmacy setting with large dispensing machines and a casual dress code. It operates on a 3rd shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM; 2-3-2 schedule). The environment is very clean, FDA-compliant, and maintains high standards of compliance.
