Maintenance Technician
Location: Marion, IN Shift: Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM) Industry: Food Manufacturing Company Overview: Join a dynamic and growing team at our state-of-the-art industrial bakery, where we produce cakes, muffins, and croissants for major clients including Burger King, Wendy’s, and Starbucks. Our climate-controlled facility is expanding, and we are looking for skilled Maintenance Technicians to ensure our operations run smoothly. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Tech Level 5 or Robotics Technician to perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks. This role involves troubleshooting electrical, electromechanical, robotics, and controls failures. The Specialist will be responsible for advanced maintenance procedures on all plant equipment including AC/DC control circuitry, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), microprocessor controls, and power distribution systems. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct advanced troubleshooting and maintenance on automated and robotic manufacturing equipment. - Perform electrical and mechanical adjustments and equipment/part replacements. - Read and interpret machine manuals, electrical blueprints, and process control diagrams. - Write and troubleshoot ladder logic for PLCs and VFDs. - Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations. Qualifications Required: - 5-10 years of experience in advanced troubleshooting of automated and robotic manufacturing equipment. - Proficient in reading and interpreting machine manuals and electrical schematics. - Experience with 480V electric motor wiring and 120V/24V DC motor control circuits. - Familiarity with RS Logix and/or C Logix programming platforms. - Strong ability to interpret fault readings on controllers, PLCs, and variable frequency drives. Qualifications Desired: - Ability to work with food allergens. - Mechanical drive experience and knowledge of installation and alignment techniques. - Experience with precision measurement tools and various motor types. - Industrial electrical experience and/or certification. - Knowledge of Allen Bradley VFDs and PLCs, Siemens systems, and analytical instrumentation.
