Grafton, MA Position Type Full Time Education Level High School Salary Range $23.18 Hourly Job Category Education Description The Grafton Job Corps Center is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are a federally funded program and we assist students ages 16-24 with receiving the education and the career skills and credentials they need to become successful members of the workforce. This position focuses on dealing with building maintenance issues and may also have days where driving students in our vans is a focus as well. CDL is not required for this position. The ideal candidate would have at least 1 year of maintenance experience. Schedule: 10am-7pm Monday-Friday Pay is $23.18 per hour Benefits: + 11 paid holidays a year + Paid Time Off + Ability to enroll in our full package of benefits + 401k for all FT employees and Employee Stock Ownership after one year of service + $2.50 meals available to staff each day Position Summary Assists in providing preventative and ongoing maintenance of Center facility, grounds and systems. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. Minimum one yearexperience in building maintenance required. Technical certificate preferred. Working knowledgeof carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, boilers and other building systemspreferred. Must possess a valid in-State Drivers License and meet Company insurabilityrequirements.Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing,carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching.
