Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Blois - France
Position Overview:
Under the responsability of the Maintenance Manager, the current position is in charge of checking, maintaining & repairing equipments & buildings and insure sustainable work function. The current role involves also to perform & contribute to the preventive maintenance plan, follow & analyze performance indicators to further increase equipment availability specifically in the field of mechanics & pneumatism & basics on automatism.
Primary Responsibilities:
Contribute to manufacturing performance & production output by doing diagnosis, repairing & continuous improvement of electromechanical installations & automatism devicesAsk & plan for external supplier(s) intervention to bring in relevant skills to further improve equipment’s in his/her area of expertise (mechanics & pneumatic)Support the Electrotechnician on automatism issuesApply & contribute to the deployment of structured methodology for preventive maintenance, KPI follow-up to monitor maintenance performance & continuous improvement process to further improve equipment availability rateContribute to the monitoring & execution of periodic plan for Equipment’s regulatory conformityAttend & contribute to CAPEX plan build-up & execution for equipment installation & cost monitoring of projectsArea of Responsibility:
Ensure that safety rules and norms for operating equipment & operator protections are implemented & followedCheck periodically the installation status & operating mode & plan for maintenance works if neededFollow, update and write maintenance processes for his / her area of expertise (electromechanical / automatism)Perform repairing works in his / her area of expertise (mechanics & pneumatic & automatism) + support other areas like mechanical & hydraulic tasks if being trainedRecord any activity performed in Maintenance software tool to insure proper monitoring of Maintenance department performanceManage & ensure that technical documentation is properly set up & recorded. Participate to the set-up of drawing if neededBe an active promoter of continuous improvement process by submitting improvement solutionsFollow Safety rules & promote high standards for housekeeping & environmental standardsMinimum Requirements:
Graduate on mechanical & pneumatics with automatism basic skills (minimum 2 years of university / engineering school)Professional experience of at least 2 yearsFamiliar with Maintenance performance monitoring & TPMEnglish spoken & writtenTeamwork orientated.Results-orientated, analytical mindset, ready to learn new/different technologies/environments, open for change.Should be self-organised, keep focused on priorities but willing to improve & open-minded.Preferred qualifications:
French recognized qualification for driving forklifts & elevators: CACES 3,5, CACES PEMP 3B (“Nacelle”), and French recognized permit to work on electrical installations H0V, B2V, B2CPhysical Environment:
Daily shift, but in some specific cases may work, depending on need, on shift (night or morning).
Technical on duty on weekends, rotating within the maintenance team.
Requirement of wearing PPE at any time as being working in the plant mainly.
