Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are in search of two CNC maintenance technicians to monitor CNC production. This individual is responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment in the facility, which includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing. **Responsibilities** + Monitor CNC production + Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in the facility + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues + Manipulate programs within the CNC machine + Repair, replace, and maintain servo motors + Handle circuits, relays, switches, motors, panels, fuses, and fuse boxes + Perform AC/DC motor repair and replacement + Replace and repair sensors + Perform CNC-related mechanical repairs + Conduct CNC tooling, offsets, and set-ups + Replace and repair CNC washers + Perform maintenance involving coolant replacement and valve changes **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of electrical troubleshooting experience up to 480v + Understanding of servo motors and their operation + Ability to repair, replace, and maintain servo motors + Experience manipulating programs within CNC machines + Knowledge of circuits, relays, switches, motors, panels, fuses, and fuse boxes + AC/DC motor repair and replacement + Sensor replacement and repair + 3+ years of mechanical troubleshooting experience + CNC-related mechanical repairs + Experience with CNC tooling, offsets, and set-ups + Replacement and repair of CNC washers + Maintenance involving coolant replacement and valve changes **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with preventive maintenance + Ability to read and interpret blueprints + Experience with machine repair and changeovers + Experience with machine set-ups **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a climate-controlled facility with room for growth and advancement. **Work Environment** Work in a clean and organized CNC facility. We offer 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities. The 2nd shift runs from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm with a $1 premium, and the 3rd shift runs from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am with a $0.75 premium. The current schedule is 6-7 days per week, with efforts to reduce it to 5-6 days. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Detroit, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
