**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to safety standards. The role includes preventative and corrective maintenance, as well as specialized tasks in mechanical, electrical, electronics, HVAC, and hydraulics. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose the cause of electrical or mechanical malfunctions or failures in operational equipment. + Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on various devices by testing their performance, dismantling them to access defective parts, and repairing or replacing these parts. + Lubricate, clean, and maintain equipment according to diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturers’ specifications using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments. + Inspect parts for imperfections and changes in dimensional requirements using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. + Set up and operate metalworking tools like lathes, drill presses, and grinders to make and repair parts. + Apply electrical knowledge to test and troubleshoot electrical equipment such as motor control devices, switch panels, transformers, and solenoids. + Complete training on new and existing equipment and use applicable reference materials as directed. + Initiate purchase requisitions to order parts for equipment and machines. + Adhere to safe working practices, perform work efficiently, and maintain high quality standards. + Comply with all quality and ISO standards, follow good housekeeping practices, and document work. + Specialize in one or more areas such as mechanical, electrical, electronics, HVAC, and hydraulics, while having general knowledge of all areas. + Fill in for the Maintenance Team Coordinator or lead a team that may include helpers. **Essential Skills** + Electrical troubleshooting + Mechanical maintenance + Preventive maintenance + PLC troubleshooting + Hydraulics and pneumatics + Ability to read blueprints + Experience with 3-phase electrical systems **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with PM work + Ability to work independently under minimal supervision + Strong problem-solving skills + Good communication skills **Why Work Here?** Our company is growing, with new shifts being added, offering great tenure and opportunities for internal growth. The available shifts are weekend day shift (5am-5:30pm) and weekend night shift (5pm-5:30am). **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Jeffersonville, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $70720.00 Please see me for company benefits.
