**Now Hiring Controls Technicians Near Whitestown, IN** **$35 - $38 per hour | Located in Lebanon, IN** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician for a food manufacturing facility specializing in the production of salad dressings and sauces. The facility is equipped with packaging and bottling lines that transport products throughout the facility via conveyor lines, leading to end packaging and preparation for warehousing and shipping. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and repair electrically controlled equipment, including PLC controlled and solid-state equipment. + Perform preventative maintenance on packaging machines, gear boxes, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, motors, cylinders, pumps, valves, and flow meters. + Work with case packers, case sealers, filler machines, labelers, and palletizers. + Utilize Allen-Bradley software, specifically Logix 500 and Logix 5000, for troubleshooting and repairs. **Essential Skills** + Electrical troubleshooting + PLC troubleshooting and installation - Allen Bradley + Maintenance technician skills + Reading and interpreting schematics + Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics + Automation and troubleshooting machinery + Machinery conveyor repair + Fanuc robotic troubleshooting **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3-4 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance or schooling in Automation/PLC + Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs - programming, editing, and troubleshooting + Knowledge of VFD setups and repairs + Understanding of safety circuits **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive insurance and benefits, a 401k plan, and paid time off (PTO). **Work Environment** The position is set in a food manufacturing environment adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
