Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to assist with the installation of new equipment, perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repairs. The role involves working with electrical systems (110 volt, 220 volt, and 480 volt), welding/fabrication as needed (Arc, MIG, TIG, Stick), and maintaining a variety of equipment including furnaces, parts washers, hoists, forklifts, lift tables, charge cars, and building equipment and materials. **Responsibilities** + Assist with the installation of new equipment. + Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repairs. + Work with electrical systems (110 volt, 220 volt, and 480 volt). + Weld and fabricate as needed (Arc, MIG, TIG, Stick). + Maintain equipment such as furnaces, parts washers, hoists, forklifts, lift tables, charge cars, and building equipment. + Utilize power tools, hand tools, plumbing tools, and electrical test equipment. **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. + High school diploma or GED. + Familiarity with various hand tools and industrial tools (power tools, lift tables, electrical testing equipment). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Comfortable working in different climates (heat, some outside work). + Ability to work at heights, on roofs, and in confined spaces. + Able to handle fumes or airborne particles (dust, smoke) and contact with chemicals (cleaners, oils). **Why Work Here?** We offer benefits, PTO, a 401k plan, and direct hire opportunities. The employee will need to be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, and may be required to work in confined spaces. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Shifts are as follows: 7AM-3:10PM, 3PM-11:10PM with a 60-cent premium, and 11PM-7:10AM with a 50-cent premium. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Jackson, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $58240.00 Benefits/PTO/401k Direct Hire, Signing Bonus 120 Days Probation Period for Benefits Full Medical Coverage (91st day of employment), same with Dental and Vision Short Term and Lift Insurance after 6 months Paid Holidays 3 "option days" (sick days) **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Jackson,MI. **Application Deadline** This position will be accepting applications until Jan 2, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
